We here at the GTRRL are hoping to put together the best season ever, in our possible last. Given that, the league has announced that we will be having our first ever GTRRL Driver Draft to determine our teams. This was decided in order to add balance to the teams and make for more of a competitive team battle.
The order of this draft was determined by random and will have the format of a snake draft. The order of the first round was picked by random draw and the second round will be reverse order of this. The draft will consist of 2 rounds where a total of 8 drivers will be selected by 4 teams. This will give the 4 teams a total of 12 drivers. Any driver not drafted onto a team will be deemed an undrafted free agent and will still be eligible to race in the series solo, or they can make there own team with the other undrafted drivers.
The draft order will be also used to determine priority of car color palletes and this will be done via the order of the 2nd round.
The draft will officially begin on Saturday April 13th at 12:00pm ET. There will be a 24 hour time limit for teams to pick a driver before they are skipped.
