Alright guys. I'm about ready to make the official announcement that The GTRRL's OSCCS is back! The game seems quite league do able and I know a decent amount of us have the game and are enjoying it. Now for us to do league a couple of things will have to be done.
First we will have to run manual cautions. There is a glitch where people disappear and stuff after cautions but if we do our own there is no issues with that. This will also allow us to do our own restarts which people will need to follow the rules on.
Another thing is I want to run damage on. The damage isnt that powerful in this game but it's realistic so I would like to do that. With that said we will be EXTREMELY strict about cautions! We dont want people acting all out of wack and causing damage. This will be completely unexecptable and will result in harsh penalties! Treat this like IRacing!!!!!!!
More official rules will be discussed as we go but I am looking to make the first race of the season next Saturday (November 17). I want to get more people together to test the system and see how many we should allow to race. If lag is a issue with a lot of people we may have to lower it to like 14 drivers or so

Ugh... Guys its not looking good now. The game is fun dont get me wrong but it continues to have some of the same issues that NTG11 had. Im worried we wont be able to get everyone into a room. We tried to race with almost 10 tonight and it kicks people if your connection isnt perfect. I just dont know...  |

When I watched the video you posted in the other topic I instantly thought I was watching 11 again. I think alot of the problems are either their server capailibilties or everyone's connection is too slow. Today's online gaming I wouldn't recommend anything less then a 12mb download modem and the same upload makes it better. Ya you can get by with less but when you wanna have more people etc., the slower connections make things worse. But I'm leaning more towards to that their servers are just shitty compared to other games. |

But man with more cars start jumping and people get disconnected before the race starts and shit. 2 years and they haven't seemed to figure shit out... It sucks |

well if its that good with 6, maybe could do a 6 man heats to a 6 man main event feature format and award points accordingly. bonus pts could go to heat winners and feature winner would basically be your race winner. like you'd have quarter finals, certain amount advance to semi final heats, then those certain amount in those races advance to the final feature.

also wanted to add to that format that you could also run loser's races in each round where the winner of that race gets a 2nd chance to move on. this means everyone gets to race at least twice given the shorter race distance to accompany running the heats

Repairman kept backing out. He said his service was getting DC is why it was so bad, he was hoping leaving and coming back would help, and unless winnercircles friend is racing in the league, who gives a shit if he got kicked.
